The information below pertains to the use of personal data and cookies on this website.

Regarding cookies, this information is provided to the user/browser in implementation of the Italian Data Protection Authority’s provision of June 10, 2021, “Guidelines on cookies and other tracking tools,” and in compliance with Article 13 of EU Regulation 2016/679 on the protection of personal data.

Pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (hereinafter “Regulation”), this page describes the methods of processing personal data of the user/browser while using the website’s services, as well as the possibilities for contacting and acquiring the user’s personal data, in full compliance with Article 13 of EU Regulation 2016/679 on the protection of personal data, relating to users who consult these websites accessible electronically at the following addresses:

TYPES OF DATA PROCESSED AND PURPOSES OF PROCESSING

Technical Browse Functionality

Browse Data

The computer systems and software procedures used to operate this website acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols.

This category of data includes, by way of example but not exhaustive, the IP addresses or domain names of the computers and terminals used by users, the URI/URL (Uniform Resource Identifier/Locator) addresses of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used in submitting the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.), and other parameters relating to the user’s operating system and IT environment.

This data, necessary for the use of web services, is also processed for the purpose of:

  • Obtaining statistical information on the use of the services (most visited pages, number of visitors per hour or day, geographical areas of origin, etc.);
  • Checking the correct functioning of the services offered.

Browse data does not persist for longer than strictly necessary and is deleted immediately after aggregation (except for any need to ascertain crimes by the judicial authorities).

Data Communicated by the User

The optional, explicit, and voluntary sending of messages to the Controller’s contact addresses, as well as the completion and submission of forms on the site, entails the acquisition of the sender’s contact data, necessary to reply, as well as all personal data included in the communications.

Specific information will be published on the Controller’s website pages prepared for the provision of certain services.

Cookies and Other Tracking Systems

This website uses cookies aimed at ensuring the correct use of the site’s content.

The site uses technical and session cookies (non-persistent) strictly limited to what is necessary for safe and efficient navigation of the site. The storage of session cookies on terminals or browsers is under the user’s control, whereas on the servers, at the end of HTTP sessions, information relating to cookies remains recorded in the service logs, with retention times strictly necessary for proper functioning.

Banner Functionality

The privacy management banner activated on this website does not allow any profiling cookies to activate before the user has given their consent. If the user clicks the “I agree” button, all profiling cookies will be activated. If, on the other hand, the user decides to click the “customize” button, they will customize their choices and decide which profiling cookies to activate. If they click the “reject” button or the “X” at the top right of the banner, no profiling cookies will be activated.

The user’s choices will be stored for six months through a technical cookie that will be installed on the device used by the user to access the site. It is important to explain that if the user changes devices, for example, from a computer to a mobile phone, the choices cannot be found on the new device, for technical reasons, and therefore must be selected on the new device.

The user’s choices can be changed at any time by accessing the control panel from the privacy control icon. The new configuration will last for six months.

The site uses third-party profiling cookies as specified below.

Which cookies are installed on this site?

The following cookies are installed: [Please note: The original text states “Sono installati i seguenti cookie:” but does not list any. You will need to insert the actual list of cookies here if you have it.]

LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING

The personal data indicated on this page is processed by the Controller in the performance of the services provided by the site and subsequently, if provided by the site itself, by contractual or legal obligations.

In case there are specific sections for newsletter subscriptions or marketing services, these will be managed by specific information notices.

OPTIONALITY OF DATA PROVISION

As provided by the provision of June 10, 2021, “Guidelines on cookies and other tracking tools,” the website user is free to authorize or not authorize profiling cookies according to their free choice and will. In some cases, such as with Google reCAPTCHA cookies, blocking this profiling cookie prevents requests from being sent through the data acquisition forms. If necessary, it will be possible to either re-enable the cookie from the privacy preferences or, if you decide to keep the cookies blocked, send such a request via email.

Apart from what is specified for Browse data, the user is free to provide personal data reported in the request forms on the sites or otherwise indicated in contacts with the structures to request the sending of newsletters, informative material, or other communications.

Failure to provide them may make it impossible to obtain what has been requested.

LEGITIMATE INTEREST

The controller does not use legitimate interest for the processing of personal data except for the protection of their own rights.

PROCESSING METHODS

Personal data is processed with automated tools for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected.

Specific security measures are observed to prevent data loss, illicit or incorrect use, and unauthorized access.

RECIPIENTS OF THE DATA

The recipients of the data collected following the consultation of the sites listed above are the following subjects designated by the Controller, pursuant to Article 28 of the Regulation, as data processors. The complete list of Processors is available at the Controller’s headquarters and can be requested via email.

The collected personal data is also processed by authorized personnel, who act based on specific instructions provided regarding the purposes and methods of the processing itself.

DATA TRANSFER

Data will only be transferred within the EU. Some applications such as Google Analytics and reCAPTCHA may involve transfers outside the EU.

DATA RETENTION PERIOD

The retention period for user choices related to cookies is six months as required by the provision. The retention period for cookies changes depending on their type. For third-party profiling cookies, specific information can be consulted directly on their respective websites. Personal data processed for contact or economic purposes will be processed for the mandatory periods required by relevant laws.

RIGHTS OF DATA SUBJECTS PURSUANT TO ART. 15 EU 2016/679

Requests should be forwarded to the Data Controller at the contact details provided at the beginning of this policy.

RIGHT TO LODGE A COMPLAINT

Data subjects who believe that the processing of personal data relating to them carried out through this site occurs in violation of the provisions of the Regulation have the right to lodge a complaint with the Garante (Italian Data Protection Authority), as provided for by Article 77 of the Regulation itself, or to seek redress through the appropriate judicial channels (Article 79 of the Regulation).
